Crazy Monkey has been woven into Tamarindo's nightlife for more than two decades. What began as a small bar overlooking the ocean became a landmark for travelers and locals alike.

Under new ownership, we've reimagined the experience while honoring the soul of the original. The space is now part of Maravida Hotel, a boutique hideaway perched above the beach. Together, they offer a seamless blend of tropical ease and modern energy.

Whether you're stopping in after the beach or planning a relaxed dinner, our kitchen is all about easy sophistication and local ingredients. Open daily from 12pm to 8pm.

Pool / Wet Bar

Our poolside wet bar is the perfect place to relax with a drink in hand. Slide into the water and enjoy service without leaving your seat at the swim-up bar.

We have upgraded the bar to focus on quality and creativity. Our bartenders craft signature cocktails inspired by Costa Rica, using fresh tropical ingredients and local spirits. Classic favorites are always on the menu, mixed with precision and attention to detail.
